Honestly, I thought Dylan Mares was the best player on the pitch. I think he needs to start for us (as I said before the match). He completely changed the game against Ottawa, and I thought he had a hand in creating a lot of our chances tonight.
Unfortunately, I agree with you. It was a deserved win for Indy and the Indy fans will go home happy. Though didn't Indy come back at the last minute in a game last year to tie in dramatic fashion?
Why must you remind me of that Luckily I prioritize the Boys in Blue much more than BVB I really wish I could have made the game tonight, but I had no one to go with.
Congrats to you Indy fan, I'll admit when I'm wrong, but the way the cosmos have been killing everyone so far I really thought they would be to much for Indy to handle, but I'm glad I was wrong, I hate the cosmos, they are one of the rowdies big rivals and have been since the mid 70's, I really respect the Indy Eleven, the owners and the FO have done one hell of a job, good luck the rest of the season and maybe we'll meet in November at the soccer bowl, cheers!
great to see they got a win. i wasn't able to watch and forgot to set the dvr. i'll have to find highlights later.
We need to bottle up whatever we've done the latter part of the game against Ottawa and against New York. We looked like the better team in each of those and a team actually capable of creating chances. Definitely encouraging that we went toe to toe against the Cosmos and got the better of them with the way they've looked early on this season.
True that. I really hope we can somehow ride this momentum into the OKC match after two weeks. This bye week sort of comes at an inopportune time, although like Hankinson said after the game, it fell at a good time for the players because they got to party after the game haha
Yep, and no offense to Rayo but they are an expansion team so it should be a good opportunity for us to get 3 points.
