With all the international duty and the timing of the event, outside of Bravo playing for a bit, I'm still going. Our boys, even if it's going to be a lot of reserve time, still need the support. Besides, another evening to spend out as LSP before the season is over. Always a good time.
Exactly - like I said on twitter, come December you all will be praying for a meaningless friendly at the stadium.
Plus, can't argue going through the Cauldron for the 2 for 20 deal. Had I waited I would have done that in a heartbeat.
for those of you that can't make the game, it's going to be on ESPN3 according to their website. http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/source/espn3/#type/upcoming/
From today's article on the game: Sporting KC coach Peter Vermes expects to play his entire roster tonight as Sporting prepares for its final regular-season home game against New York on Saturday. He did confirm Tuesday that he will rest defenders Matt Besler and Júlio César, though neither player is injured. http://www.kansascity.com/2011/10/11/3202002/exhibition-against-mexican-team.html
Jimmy Nielsen said earlier in the week that he'd been given the choice and had chosen not to play in this game.
Indeedy, just was throwing it out there because it wasn't mentioned. I wish CJ was getting a rest as well ...
Preparing my #KRONKBLOCKED yell when Kronberg makes a save tonight. LOL. Will be cool to see Kempin get some minutes too.
haha the espn3.com broadcast is in Español! edit: It makes total sense, but I just found it funny that they don't just use espn Ocho for this game
hey guys just wanted to wish you luck and tell you that the game is on espn deportes if you want to catch it on tv.
just close it out and restart it, it messes up I think if you try and listen if it's not live edit: nevermind!! It's messing up for me too =/ ay ay ayyyy Español broadcast it is then =/
Anyone with knowledge of Guadalajara know what kind of lineup this is they fielded? (starters//reserves/etc?) Just curious, I feel like we are outplaying them. Hoping it's not just scrubs out there considering we have quite a few of our starters on the field. Really pulling for Bravo to get a goal just cuz, he's had a couple pretty good chances. A nice cross from Zusi earlier he headed over the crossbar, and a great through ball from Jeferson as I type this that got saved.
We are missing about five well six with the the loss of our defender early in the game. The game is serving the team well because we just recently got a new manager 2 weeks ago. Overall we are not happy with our performance.
