Good to see a team from Algarve make it back up. It can only be seen as a positive for Portuguese futebol. They were helped by a few Porto loanees aswell, Andre Castro, Stephane, Ukra and Steven Vitoria. FCP had a hand in both the 1st and 2nd division titles.
I may be partaking in some volunteer work at a guest lodge near Olhao in December/January, and will probably try to catch some of Olhanense's matches. Anyone from this approximate region here?

You guys remember Zequinha, the 18 year old strike from the U-20 a couple years ago. Well Olhanense picked him up and he scored a beauty from outside the box in their win. He also had a beautiful trivela cruz to get the 2nd goal. He looks like he really developed since that debacle, since his suspension.

When I was looking at Olhanense squad last year, I was wondering how they were going to react and cope once they were promoted. They had various key players that were older and might not be able to handle the first division, but I must credit them. They have made some very good signings and pickups. I will be rooting for them. Someone has to due good by the Algarve.
