Sounders looked sharp in a 3-1 win over a team still above us in the table. Jordan Morris was threatening all day.

If Frito Lay headquartered in Minnesota? Because they were cheap and chippy all night. As is too often the case, MLS refs barely held the game together.

Do you think this can be a launching point for a return to form for the Sounders? We have two games in hand on most teams. If we had all six points, we’d be sitting 6th instead of 11th.

    The short answer is yes.

The Sounders were entirely focused on CCL and their back-up heavy line-ups and performance in MLS regular seasons were indications of this. The fact that the Sounders were doing so well in CCL against superior teams should be very concerning for MLS teams now that the Sounders don't have to worry about outside competitions for the rest of the season.
