Tbf defenses against Spurs seem to be way more compact/less open than this recent games but Sonny also is not nearly as decisive as he used to be--hope to see the SHM that takes on and beats defenders as well

Might be a done deal with Son involved. Probably headed to Spurs.

    -----

According to Footballist in South Korea, Beijing Guoan defender Kim Min-jae has received a European offer amid strong links to Tottenham Hotspur.

Late last month, The Telegraph reported that Tottenham were pursuing Kim, whilst Son Heung-min’s influence has bee highlighted too.

The Sunday Mirror (21/06, p72) suggested that Son would help Tottenham win the race for Kim, with Everton also interested.

i can't see KMJ starting consistently over alderweireld, sanchez, tanganga, and foyth in his first season but i wish him the best.

i think we all want a move for him but there's always the risk of him being bench/reserves fodder

I think he has somewhat of a shot if he doesn’t end up first on a loan move. For sure Toby should be starting, but I heard Foyth is going on a loan, Tanganga was pretty good as a leftback and maybe should get minutes and compete against Aurier, and Sanchez is pacy but terrible with the ball on his feet and sometimes has his moments of errors. Personally KMJ brings more to the table than Sanchez cause he’s also quick and better with the ball, but the quality of play of the CSL to the EPL is bigger than when Sanchez went from the Dutch league to EPL so who knows.

Let the Chips Fall Where They may.

If KMJ honestly thinks he has little chance of starting, he won't be coming to thfc, regardless if sonny is here or not

I don't think Jose likes Foyth. He will be moved on.

Tottenham Hotspur are positive about getting Kim Min-jae signed, according to a report in South Korea on NaverSports.

Min-jae currently plays in China with Beijing Guoan, and has reportedly been identified as an ideal addition for Tottenham by Jose Mourinho.

Spurs are now in negotiations with Beijing over signing the defender and are said to be confident about completing a deal.

Foyth is a bust. Jan is leaving. Tanganga will provide cover for the wide backs with Rose in the dog house. It's an ideal situation for KMJ in terms of getting opportunities to partner with Toby.
