No, 공군 is not another term for 공익. 공군 is a military branch, whilst 공익 is public service, two totally different things. The 육해공 is an acronym for all four branches which does not include 공익.

He's referring to the term '공', which is causing a confusing since they both start with it. '공'군 '공'익.

Why are you confused? I didn't know what 공군 was so I asked if it's another word for 공익 lol. I read news about the shortened service starting October and they hadn't listed 공익 in the article so I assumed 공군 was another word for 공익. I assumed the 공 in 공군 meant public like it does in 공익.

Yea i thought it was "公" for public and not "空" for sky and assumed they're just synonyms or something that I never knew about. Never came across the word 공군 in my life before LOL. Not familiar with military terms.

I'm sorry if this came up and I tried to search the forum for this info, but I saw that Son dropped out from 동북고, which I believe is a high school. Is it considered as dropping out of middle school or am I missing something here?

lol sorry. just assumed you knew 공군 was air force since its a pretty common word (e.g.,공/해/육 군). thought you were native korean speaker and/or grew up in korea brah.

yes. For El Lay members, he literally walked through the streets and was apparently quite gracious taking pics and signing things.

Hopefully if some of our BSK peeps were there, someone can give us a first hand account.

So is SHM traveling to Minneapolis? I'm surprised to see him and Eriksen still playing in this match.

played a big part in the equalizer too.

give credit to Poch for giving the fans a show. this was by far one of the better matches in the ICC. most of these matches have been unwatchable snoozefests.

yes, Spanish crews were praising him more than anyone for the 2nd Spurs goal. great bit of skill in tight quarters to keep it away from 2 defenders and then flick it to open man who hit a Barca player square in the chest and then Nkoudu bagged the rebound.

Sonny and Eriksen (Davies lesser) class for Spurs. some of Barca youth looked mighty impressive in 1st half.

I had a plan with some korean dude next to me to shout SHM and wave our big ass flag when he was subbed because we were sitting right behind Pocchettino and Valverde... BUT SHM PLAYED FCKING 90 MINUTES

Also there was a Tottenham section that sang the Nice one Sonny let's have another one chant after his first attempt on goal ... he had like 3 attempts on goal before he scored one lol
