Very cool. The security guard in my building in Brussels once was capped for Luxembourg in the early 70s. Amazing to be able to play for your national team, but it kinda sucks to lose to Portugal 6-0 when they've given up trying before halftime.
Would highly recommend "This Love is Not for Cowards". Follows an American journalist who moved to Juarez to follow the city's first top flight club in Liga MX in the midst of cartel wars and drug violence https://www.amazon.com/This-Love-Not-Cowards-Salvation/dp/1608197182
https://www.amazon.com/Promised-Lan...d+a+northern+love+story&qid=1586312964&sr=8-1 I'm not really a Leeds fan persay but this is one of the best football books I've ever read. It doesn't only tell the story of the great Leeds teams but of the culture of Northern England in the 60's and the author's immigrant family (Eastern European Jewish I believe) and how supporting the local club helped them assimilate into their new country.
