So, how do I delete a virus out of my registry/system backup?

I've been having some computer problems -- namely, the thing just crashes on me without warning -- and the Gateway tech wanted to use System Restore to fix things. But I've got System Restore disabled because I never was able to get the Yaha virus out of there.

So. How do I delete that little sucker?
