I'd just like there to be more, possibly blue in color, just seems like it would be awesome especially at night. For as loud as we get after a goal we have a very small pyro/smoke showing compared to other clubs.

And we are VERY lucky to be allowed what we have. It took alot to get the Chester Fire department to allow what we do have.

    From the TiFo thread...

As far as the number, it may be a fire code deal. Probably all we're allowed to have.

That's why I said its what I want not what we need. It's pretty crazy what other clubs are allowed compared to us tho..

If the stadium was built across the river, you would of been able to do more.

You never know. It's ill illegal to own large fireworks here in AZ, but sparklers, smokes, and snakes are legal.

For every Chicago, which seems to look the other way regarding flares, there's an LA Galaxy, which doesn't allow its supporters to have large, one-piece overheads.

We are limited as to the type of smoke bombs that are permitted in PPL Park. They were approved by the Chester Fire Department. The white color is the one they approved and if I remember correctly, the colored smoke wouldn't be approved by them.

Hell, they take issue with charcoal grills in the parking lot. Maybe it has something to do with the park being built near a former chemical dumping ground.

Know that if you set off smoke from a spot other than the launch pad, you'll be escorted from the park and may have further issues in getting seating in the future.

It's too late for a history lesson. Look it up. Long, long, well-documented tale of burning chemicals and cancer deaths following the fire.

Just as importantly, if you set off smoke from a spot other than the launch pad, there might be no more smoke from the launch pad.

We should make a yellow and blue smoke bomb... at least one or the other.

So I barely skimmed the thread but from what I can gather, we are allowed to have flares?

As are bonfires and car-beques. I plan to bring an old Pinto filled with M-80s to the opener.

why? instead of the pinto, just drive a Gremlin. no explosives needed, It'll catch fire on its own!

Random through to accomodate the colors smoke crowd, and the Chester FD (unless this was also covered in the discussions) if the smoke is white/grey.... but is colord by other means, is that okay?

IE - do we have a power source we can get to the lanuchpad? backlighting the smoke with blue and yellow lights might work.... but I can almost guarantee that we can't get power and/or would not be allowed to have bright enough colored lights on some form of battery power to make the effect work.

Montreal is gonna dominate the supporter scene. The less rules, the more fun. Us, portland and seattle are close behind tho.

Why stop there? Let's get around 40 strobe machines and do I like it loud some justice.

Serious tho it would look cool.

I think only place smoke is somewhat legal is Portland.
