    We're on a roll today.

We should finish the 8th round and get well into the 9th round with everyone checking in. And this is without a 10-hour rule. This is the way the draft should be going all along.

Shucks, Shucks, Shucks y'all are wiping out the "S's" at the top of my mf list

so I'll move over to the "S" catagory and choose a "K":

    KOLLER STRIKER CZE 9.5

I got the nicest message from lobo, 'You're up mama's boy.' That's what I get for taking a shower. I miss two picks and field a duel-worthy insult. Foils or epees, lobo? It's on! :D Just for that, I'm taking Ricky Oaks off your roster.

    Carvalho D Portugal 6.0

Cool, nobody's taking a GK until it gets back around to me, at which point I'll take either Moby or Casillas.

Well I was going to use this pick to secure one more strong midfielder... but they all just got claimed. So:

    Heinze D Arg 7.0

Actually I'm surprised he's still available.

Hal seems to have left... I would like to leave the computer for the day, and since I'm going to select two midfielders and Hal already has selected his four midfielders, is everyone cool with me going ahead?

HAL - since we're waiting for you (;) ) and I would really like to leave, and given the fact you have already chosen your four midfielders and I am going to take two midfielders, I went ahead and made my picks. Note I sought the approval of other managers before proceeding. You are up for two picks, and I bet they will be defenders anyways (Aviators with no top flight defenders... I've seen it all now!)

Anyways, time to pay homage to my eastern european roots... and I'm really glad I got my hands on these guys... I thought somebody would grab Kranjcar.

So round 8 and 9 selections are... get out the spellcheck.

    Kranjcar - Midfielder - Croatia - 8.0
    Krzynowek - Midfielder - Poland - 8.0

Hal is up for two picks... which I imagine will be two defenders.

I PM'ed Hal... will be gone for a while now, but I assume the draft stops today before it gets back anywhere near me... waiting for lobo's swoop of Lebo Lebo now

See I knew he was going to do that, just knew it but making him wait was not going to help, was my next as well, never should have picked a GK so early.

This may be the first African player drafted.

Aviators selects Ivory Coast Forward Didier DROGBA.

    IN:
    CIV DROGBA Forward 8.5

You all moved faster than I expected. I went to cook lunch and watch a little of the Indy 500 race. Good move, Ralph, to go ahead and name your two midfielders.

In my case, I'm hoping a French starter and corner-taker will help me to forget my Croatian heartbreak.

    Malouda M France 7.0

... and now to sit and watch the players I need get picked off one... by one... by one... for 16 more picks.
