Cardozo wouldn't be a big loss because Kardec is the real deal. DiMaria will be a blow but... we're in effing Portugal, there's good wingers all over the damn place.

David Luiz will end up being the biggest loss for Benfica.

cardozo = kardec and JARA. the brazilian still a lot to prove, but JARA i think he's gonna be the real deal.
di maria - we got coentrao, urreta, if we keep coentrao at LB then we got to sign somebody else.
d.luiz - we got sidnei that is real good. f.faria, m.vitor. r.miranda bench
ramires - r.amorim we got to sign anoter RM to compete with ruben for that spot
javi - airton , and we got to sign another DM.

if you look at it we have good replacements already if we lose some of our key players. i just hope that benfica won't sell more than 2/3 players this year.

hopefully we won't renew with quim and moreira, and finally sign a TOP GK.

Portuguese sides never come to the west coast like they use to. I think the last time was in 2002 when Benfica played the Quakes in SJ.

The "best Benfica in 15 years" were toyed with by the worst Liverpool in the last 11.

In all honesty didn't see that one coming, but I think some needed to be brought back to earth.

Dude, you can't even brag about this because you aren't even English. I can claim I'm a Manchester United fan and then shit all over you as well, would you like me to do that?

What does being English have to do with anything? I follow Liverpool just as much as I do Porto, and I always have.

Niether of us live in Portugal so I guess we shouldn't like teams from our home country either?

I predicted that Torres would make your anal passage sore, and I was correct.

P.S. Isn't this the smack thread? Or do we have to do "I know you are, but what am I" jokes just because its easier to handle?

Cardozo should walk alone back to Portugal rather than fly, just because he sucks so much d*ck (In terms of scoring a meaningful goal from open-play)

After a soccer lesson by Liverpool, I would expect Benfiquistas to be quiet on raising failure issues.

No lesson. Faulty tactics on our part. Porto's Arsenal ass-whoopin was a lesson.

That's because you weren't smart enough for differential equations or dynamic optimization.
