In regards to Koster, - I guess I'm not sure about the backs lineup in general. They could be good players individually but we've made a few mistakes every game, like mis-communicated back passes which are easy balls taken by the opposition forwards. The backs aren't playing tight or cohesively enough. And it shows by the high number of shots the opposition can take at our goal (whether on or off target)
Meghan............Christie.......................AND...................................TASHA, will all be back in action for this week's game!
Bardsley breaks collar bone in All-Star practice; out 6-8 weeks http://equalizersoccer.com/WebPages/blog.aspx?postid=68763206-3cd7-488b-9d77-5119bdef690e
I am really bummed about Bardsley. She was so much fun to watch and was keeping Sky Blue in the mix for the playoffs. Oh, yeah, and she really really gave my fantasy team a boost! Best wishes to her.
From the league transaction page: June 30, 2010: Sky Blue FC mutually terminated its contract with Jessica Landstrom. Opens a regular contract spot for Fletcher?
Up date on Bardsley plus Branam: "Bardsley being sidelined indefinitely with a clavicle injury" "Branam is aggressively rehabilitating her injury, but she is currently a couple of weeks away from being able to return to the field." http://www.womensprosoccer.com/Home/ny/news/press_releases/100630-kb-injury.aspx
Two independent events. NJ will manage through until Branam is back. It sounds as if Landstrom is going back to Sweden.
Landstrom got a job offer to work as a manager at IKEA in Sweden. No seriously it sounds like she came to Sky Blue's front office to request out of her contract, or off the team ASAP. She was complaining about too many splinters in her butt from sitting on the bench too much.
