Even if it was a "joke" you do not make freaking jokes after a loss like the San Jose game. The team was outplayed in damned near every possible way, hell we only had slightly better possession and that was due to the fact that we went up a man in the 57th minute. Seriously, look at the stats for the game. San Jose had sixteen corners that game, sixteen. That is not a typo. It's actually surprising they didn't get more goals from that to be honest.

After losing 1-0 to a team that you had a man advantage on for around 30 minutes you damned well better NOT be making freaking jokes at your press conference. Seriously, how appropriate would it be for Peter Laviolette to sit there and say, "Well, we lost 8-1 but at least we know that Giroux can score a goal!"

I don't give a shit what context Hackworth might have been uttering the sentence. THIS TEAM NEEDS A CHANGE. Put Kleberson on, put Torres on, or even give Wheeler a start. But no, he's trotting out the same, tired bullshit lineup that other teams have figured out.

You shut down Conor Casey, we have no aerial attack in the box. Hoppenot can only run north-south and if your back line isn't playing high, he's not going to get past them. Farfan is ineffective as shit and honestly I'm wishing we'd packaged him to Chivas for all their draft picks for the next few years. Right now you can give McInerney the ball in the box with an empty net and he's more than likely going to miss. Our midfield likes to pad their passing stats by passing back to defenders since god knows they can't break down another team's defense with good runs or accurate passing.

This is not the situation that you make some shitty joke, this is not the situation where you blame the ref, this is a situation where you as the head coach sit there and say, "We didn't do what we needed to do and that's on me."

Stop making good points or they will start calling you a troll. You are either for us or against us.

It doesn't help that Hack has been playing Le Toux on the left to cover for Fabhino.

And Williams' almost flat refusal to drive to the endline. I'm tired of his lazy ass looping crosses from outside the 18.

Maybe that's what the coaching staff is instructing him to do.

Sheanon can be frustrating, but IMO he isn't the problem. I don't even think Gaddis is the problem, the problem is the midfield. We need someone who can possess the ball and make some dangerous passes.

From your keyboard to John Hackworth's eyes.

At least Burke is "saying" the team will pursue a #10 DP in the offseason.

“There are more positions open this week than there have been all season,” Hackworth said. “We wanted to emphasize that it was unacceptable on many levels on Sunday night. It bodes well for guys working hard in training who smell it a little bit. They know there’s opportunity there. And if the coaching staff isn’t happy with the performance, the logical thing is you interject a new face in there or change something tactically.” This is what Hack said.

Harkens back to his love of versatile players, i.e. Fabinho played previous 2 games as LB, played against Houston as LW.

    Like Adu or Kleb?

I know it's not a popular opinion here, but I really wish we hadn't gotten rid of Freddy.

I kind of miss Freddy. At least he played and was entertaining to watch, if you could get past his poor decision making. Now we're stuck with midfielders that don't play, only play defense, or play linebacker.

We get rid of players very very quickly. Last year, no one was finishing his chances. We can only imagine how he would have done having settled in another year while having Casey and Jack to feed the ball to.

Adu, perhaps. Kleb is not primarily a CAM.
Purportedly. I don't think he and JMac got along, so he (Adu) would probably make it a point to not pass him the ball.
