A lot of rain there--Sky guy thinks it may have to be postponed sometime in the second half because of all the standing water.

Sky's score ticker says Simek came out in the 75th minute, replaced by Kevin McLeod.

Ian Holloway has very nice things to say.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/q/qpr/3758958.stm

The London papers (well, The Times anyway) mentioned the loan without bothering to note Frankie's status as a YA.

Are we finally getting to the point where an American playing 1st division football isn't even a curiosity?

Not too long ago, you couldn't see a reference to a U.S. keeper without "giant" attached; e.g., "giant American goalkeeper Juergen Sommer saw the shot rebound off the thick branches of his arms." All as if these guys couldn't actually play but were freaks of nature who stood there and took up a lot of the goal.

Progress has been made since then.

I think some of this was due to press surrounding Ian Feuer... who moved from team to team to team to team to team...
If I recall correctly, he was extremely tall at 6'7"
