http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~429825,00.html Dan Shittu injured his knee against Sheffield United, but it appears there is relief at Loftus Road that he'll be out for just six weeks, rather than a year, as first suspected. They thought it was a torn ACL, but it's now been diagnosed as just a few frayed fibres. This is still terrible news, but with Forbes playing well in central defense on Tuesday it looks like he'll be able to step in for awhile. So, we go from Carlisle-Shittu, to Shittu-Gnohere, to Gnohere-Forbes, to (in a few weeks) Forbes-Carlisle, and eventually back to Carlisle-Shittu. Best of luck to Big Dan for a quick recovery.
crap crap crap crap crap. Though ironically enough, I just lost Shittu for 2 months in my current CM4 game, at just about the same point in the season. I think Steve Palmer could fill his role as well, which would allow both Bircham and Bean on the field at the same time in the center of midfield.
