He was Japan's most talented player.
But that ********ing Filipino destroyed his career.
Do you remember that the ugly idiot's horrible tackle against Ono in the 2000 Olympics qualification.
Due to the serious injury, he became such an injury prone and lost most of his talent.

Yeah similar to how Inamoto got his career back on the right track.

I couldn't be happier with how Inamoto has got back into one of the better leagues in the world. He's playing well too. And since he joined, Eintracht seem better off. They were in a relegation battle last season. Looking at a very good finish this season.

Ono nearly got picked up by Ajax but he firstly needs a few games for Reds to prove to other clubs how good he can be.

Both Ono and Imanoto are failures. Sadly enough, both ended up playing in a garbage clubs.

They're not failures [WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE -- MOD]

Inamoto, was a national hero at 2002 WC and played for several european clubs.

Ono, played over 100 games for Feyenoord including when they won the UEFA cup.

    Back now to ONO.

Now this probably won't happen. But if Ono, gets game time and performs at next months Club World Cup. Like I mean REALLY performs, clubs might turn heads at him once more.

Ono still a great player...almost every goal he scores nowadays are world class, too bad he doesn´t get to play that often.... is it lack of form or lack of trust from the coach? or still injured?

i guess it depends on what you mean by "failures."

is it because they don't play for big european clubs? or is it because they're no longer regulars for their national team?

personally, i would argue that ono and inamoto have both had successful careers in their own regards.

i think the main problem was that both players peaked early.

ono, in his prime, was a mainstay for the national team and feyenoord. his problem was that he was just unlucky with injuries. when healthy, he was, in my opinion, the most complete player out of japan's "big 4" midfielders. unfortunately, his body would never cooperate and kept breaking down. while i do hope he gets one more shot at europe, realistically, due to his age and the fact that his body cannot be relied on, i wouldn't bet on it.

as for ina, he's been unlucky with clubs and managers. i'm glad he's settling down in germany and playing regularly in a top league. sure, he didn't meet the inflated expectations after 2002, but people seemed to forget that the 2 goals from him were anomalies. he's not a goalscoring midfielder, but after 2002, he had a reputation of being one. however, some may say he's had or still having a successful career as he's still not only plying his trade in europe, but playing regularly.

I have favor... I want to ask people here... In the above post..., do I sound like I am picking a fight or am I asking politely?

Apparently, someone reported the above post with following comment:

Sounds polite enough to me. If anyone takes that comment as an invitation to
    a fight, then THAT'S starting a fight.

As for Teru, he was only a 50/50 starter this last season anyway.
