so have we turned into a legitimate contender now? my wednesday brain doesn't know how to compute that.
you call everyone by their surname ... except him. and he gets a big banner photo. you love him. you want to be his boyfriend.

just in case any of you all weren't aware, our fa cup game against morecambe on sunday will be on fox soccer channel here in the states. what a fantastic and unexpected treat.
i love it when fsc shows these early round games and you get to see some of the smaller, lower-league grounds. i'll be watching the two they're showing saturday morning as well. really looking forward to seeing all the wednesdayites rocking the away terrace.
fleetwood and alfreton town ... both from the conference. i don't know anything about either of those grounds, exept that alfreton beat wednesday's reserves at the latter 14-0 near the beginning of the season. er ... ouch. but, yeah, i really like seeing the smaller grounds, too. anyway, i remember reading a few days ago that wednesday were having trouble selling out their allotment for morecambe. three- or four-hundred left (of around 1500) as of then. hopefully, they'll have moved more of them after going on general sale.
no kidding? that's cos boy wonder and southy aren't buying any tickets. last time they were on the telly here, last season, we lost to birmingham in the cup =(
yeah, i read something about it on OO (i don't post there, but i'll read on it every now and again). i went back to have another look, but there'd been nothing added in the last few days. someone said then that there were around 450 tickets left ... someone else commented that he thought they'd sell out once they go on general sale. so i don't know. hopefully they'll sell. i'll wager we hear more from wednesday's than from morecambe's, regardless.
yeah. i wish i had a big screen to invite some of my footy playing friends over... just to hear our bunch singing...
well, on the subject of big screens ... there's a lecture hall in the biology department at the university that enables projections on to a rather massive screen, which vinnie assures me will be projecting the wednesday match on sunday morning. so i'll be watching* this on about an 18-foot screen, thankyouverymuch. reda johnson ... bigger than life. *assuming i'm not working, which i'll find out in a couple hours.
