As much as I hate it, most likely Alaba. Carlo has spoken multiple times about how he prefers him at CB.

 

We need to manage Mendy carefully, he only just came back after missing months of action.

No Kroos or Modric in midfield please. Vinicius, Benzema and Hazard up front.

The team has been in poor form. Must win game after the clusterf*ck against Sheriff.

Real Madrid's defense stinks, I don't expect anything positive from them. I just hope Shaktar's goalkeeper doesn't turn in the performance of his lifetime like the Sheriff keeper did. Otherwise we're toast.

3 points is all I'm hoping for, I don't expect a large margin.

 

My priority is the league, I want us playing and being competitive in the CL but I don't think we have a squad able to win it this season and I'd hate to see the distraction prevent us from winning the league.

 

I was positive after the sheriff game despite the loss because we played very well and only bad luck led to us to lose but not so much after the espanyol game, we have to bounce back but I don’t think we’ve ever played well after an international break.

My midfield for this one is Kroos, Casemiro and Camavinga since they’re all very well rested while Fede, who’s played every game for both club and country, should rest, same goes for Modric who is 36 and just played for his NT.

I'd probably go with a 4 man midfield and have Benz partnered with Rodrygo for the start and depending on how much space is available, I'd be bringing Jr on 65 to 70 minutes in to take advantage of tired legs.

 

Don't care how or who plays. Anything less than 3 points here is unacceptable. Just get it done.

 

Carlo pretty much confirmed its gonna be a 433, lets see what he has in mind about the lineup
