I've been reading the comments over the summer and it's gotten pretty sad but cmon guys we need to just brighten things up a little.
We may not be coming into this season with a brand new signing like last year with Osimhen. We may not be coming into this season with the highest of expectations of seasons past.
Hell, we're not even entering this season with Serie A viewed as a top league.

Nevertheless this team is my team like it's all of ours. Win, lose, or draw this team will always have our heart. We don't need to have Messi, or Ronaldo or the best midfielder or the best fullback, goalie, whatever.

All I ask from the team, is to give their 100% effort each and every week. As long as they do that, we'll never leave.

We may never win the Serie A in my lifetime, but in all honesty that doesn't matter to me. I just want to enjoy watching the team play. That's when I love the team the most, when I stop worrying about how they're doing in the table, or who's coming up next week. Taking it 1 game at a time and enjoying it. If they lose, sure I'll be disappointed but we can't let ourselves get too worked up over things we have no control over.

So with that being said, Napoli vs Venezia in less than 2 weeks. A win would be such a nice way to end off the summer. Here's to hoping we can get our first 3 points of the season on the 22nd of August.
I hope all of you are doing well.

I agree, the only thing that I have trouble to digest is the fact that they simply have no balls, and I have been waiting for them to grow some since the era of Mazzari. But that is not a matter of wanting or not wanting, it is much deeper than that, and I can't really blame the team for that.

Good to see Venice back in the big time. What kind of crowds can we expect?

about 30 pounds heavier per attendance.

I really hope Spalleti benches Zielinski - he doesn't deserve to start with what he has shown, and his attitude is rotten. Tactically he is also a fool and I don't think Spalleti will let him off unless he improves

Spalletti has work to do with him. A lot more running will be demanded of him now if Napoli play 4-3-3, even if Zielinski looks to break between the lines into a position he prefers.

We have a poor midfield. Who should play in 433?

Anyone willing to fight for the jersey.

A poor midfield only becomes more poor when we have a guy jogging about until he gets the ball.
I think spalleti will use elmas tbh. Not that I rate him much either - but at least it feels like he cares for the fans and works hard

Zielinski is really starting to get on my nerves, reminds me of the other polish fraud. Should have sold him and went for de paul.

Also im sick of waiting for his inconsistent performances, zielinski cannot play himself out of a bad game by working hard, and that hurts the team

Anyone knows where we can watch this in UK? Seems now BT Sport own the rights and they don’t show all games.

This idiot has started the game by complaining over every single decision and now he's gotten himself sent off.

we are doing well given we have 10 players. cant tell if its up to spalleti, Venezia or the fact that our players are much better than theirs

All that matters is we get the 3 points and move on to the next. This match has been poor. A mix of Venezia being content sitting back and us not wanting to commit too many men forward and risk being countered.
