Ajax looking to extend Sulejmani's contract Ajax are preparing to engage in contract talks with Miralem Sulejmani next month as they look to extend his contract. The 23-year-old forward is tied to the Eredivisie champions until the summer of 2013 but the Amsterdam giants are anxious to warn off any potential suitors by extending his contract, for at least two more years. “Miki has a contract with Ajax until June 2013 and he's doing a great job,” technical director Danny Blind told the Dutch daily newspaper De Telegraaf. “He is one of the players who finds the net quite easily and we're keen to keep him at the club. We will discuss his future with him next month." The Belgrade native who has also played for his home town team Partizan, joined Ajax from Heerenveen in 2008 for €16.25 million. Despite initially struggling to gain a regular place in the first team, the Serbia international has become a key member of the squad, scoring 11 goals in 15 Eredivisie appearances for the club this term.
