Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Seol looking pretty damn good. Knocked down the cross for assist and then made a great defensive play at the other end.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] great flick header by seol to set up murphy. he looks good today tracking back to help on D
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] WOW when Seol is on he is on... He just beat three defenders (Hamann twice) and drew the yellow for Hamann. He's getting alot of cheering whenever he gets a touch.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Definitely one of the better players on the pitch today and some unbelievable moves along the line...almost seemed like was on a tight rope. That effort to evade three city players was appreciated by anyone who saw it. And he played defense as well poaching at least two balls from city midfielders. Nice assist too. And no he hasnt bulked up. He's always had muscular legs. Its just the white uni's playing tricks with your eyes.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] SkySports gave him a 7 and remarked that he "changed things": http://www.skysports.com/football/user_ratings/0,19768,11065_2847118,00.html Gave him the highest rating on the team despite about only 30 minutes on the pitch.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Lol, Fulham's Man of the Match. Hopefully, Seol will break away from his pattern.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] he was pretty darn amazing.. and despite his (relatively) slow speed, he was everywhere.. tackling, getting the ball, and ALWAYS looked confident.. why is it that he always starts off soooo well and then fades? i was so impressed with him today.. but then i remembered how well he played for reading at first.. he can be such a great talent.. and remembering that he clawed into the premiership somehow, choosing to go to the unfashionable Championship and payind his dues, i really have nothing but luv for the guy. however critical i may be of his skills/lack of motivation at times, he rightfully earned his spot in one of the best leagues, and he didn't mind doing it the hard way.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Seol Ki-hyun's performance against Manchester City http://flvs.daum.net/flvPlayer.swf?vid=WdBN5ZSCyfg$
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Dietmar Hamann was the dude who fouled Seol. IIRC, Hamann was on the German NT during WC'02 and did a fairly decent job of defending against Korea's attacks.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] Cool. I'm glad he did well. I wonder if Seol's inconsistency is due to lack of conditioning. He always seems to do well when on the pitch for the first time after a long spell on the bench.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] He looked completely healthy out there today...no sign of residuals in the least. Lots of "ankle-breaker" jukes and he broke a few out there today. Days like these remind you of how athletic this guy can be. If he only had a little more speed...ok...a lot more. But still he had a pretty large stake in this match.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] What kind of surgery did he have over the summer? Perhaps that helped a bit.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] i actually think his time at reading really developed him as a player especially when it comes to winning the ball and helping out the defense.
Re: Seol at Fulham Part I [R] This almost sig worthy but for all the wrong reasons. Good to know you were blankly watching the just above the TV set while it was on.
