I can't see leaving my 14 year old son alone in the same room with a Republican politician. A Socialist sure, but not a Republican.

Sorry. I came by it by accident a few years ago. Whenever one of these "disgusting things" conversations happens, it's all I can think of. I'm guessing you're now in the same boat, so sorry. Since I have not, as yet, googled it, I feel free to say that The Mung Mongerers would be a good name for a band. I might feel differently when, or if, I google it.

Yeah, I wouldn't Google that one if I were you. I also wouldn't name my band that unless I was going after a very, very specific (and disturbing) audience.

As for the actual act of mung mongering, I take umbrage with its inclusion in this conversation. Clearly that is going to trump any disturbing sexual act I can come up with, but it has the unfair advantage of not actually being a sexual act. Unless, of course, you actually think there are people out there who do that sort of thing.

So I'm sitting on the can at work today and I remember this story. For kicks I decided to see how wide a stance I could manage. Two and a half feet was as wide as I could manage, but not because I'm inflexible, but because with my pants around my ankles there is a finite amount of spreading I could do.

Unless the Senator has a 50" waist on his pants, it is highly unlikely he could manage a stance wide enough to reach beyond his stall, even as thin as those stalls tend to be.

Logic and weirdness is one post. I'm quite pleased.
