honduras will bunker like they did in the azteca a few years ago. i would consider starting only 1 defensive mid and try to get ahead early. start reyna instead of castro.

I expect them to play like the Guats and do a better job nullifying our wings (which is 90% of our attack) and being faster and more deadly on the counter.

No need for 2 DM's. Chicharito is getting triple teamed and we need someone physical for crosses and to rough up their defenders. We need a good shooter and creator down the middle, hence Guardis. To avoid his shot, defenders will rush to block him opening other avenues to pass as well.

I have a gut feeling we will loose a player on 2nd yellow this game for the final.

That is the lineup that we play best with and have scored the most goals with why don't we just start with it? we could always bring on another DM after taking the lead.

 

I agree. The team has looked really good with Aldo and Cheech playing together up front. We should start with this line-up.
