    I wouldn't blame Foudy for getting outjumped for the ball, but it would have been nice to see her get some contact with Garefrekes so that it wasn't an unchallenged play.

    There are some keepers bigger than him. He has a aggressive face that scare many attackers. Many other goalies don't stiker so much fear on their opponents.

    Yes his arm was not in a natural postion thus qualifing it for intent, the major component to a handball being called.

    the germans won far and square, but on any given day the game could of went any way. the US were
    attacking more often and didn't find the net. Akers
    column in USA Today was not fair. The germans got
    a lucky goal. It was not a rout. Hamm was flat. I
    think the US wins 2 out of 3. It was a bad day. But
    the US needs a Pichon now!
