Yes, the way she snuffed that counterattack earlier looked quite bad.... Let's hope she wakes up along the game.
LOL, we're just past the half-hour mark and we already have more shots/shots on goal by each team than US and Canada combined managed to squeeze out in 90'!
Hey, I'm actually awake for this. Um...Kerr was offside? Or was there another reason the goal was called back?
25% of the 12 have in the Olympics a Swedish coach. 37½% of the team in Quartefinal have a Swedish coach. 50% of the team in Semifinal have a Swedish coach. 50% will also be the number for the Final and the Bronze game.
Actually the ref had alreaday blown when the goal was scored so it wasn't really called back, it just was scored after the play had been stopped. Why she did blow is a bit harder, but the Swedish commentators speculate it may have been because two Aussie player was offside when the ball was thrown and used those positions to block the Swedish defenders form following Kerr so they had much impact on the play. Commnetators less sure why she did blow now, but she had done so before the goal (just about the time Kerr's foot hit the ball).
At HT, I was wondering if Australia-Canada, the final no-one would have ever predicted, could have actually happen, after all: one minute into 2nd Half and Sweden scores already. it was kind of a fluke-goal, with that incredible deflection from a Angeldal's shot and the awkward rebound from the crossbar serving the ball to the Sweden's FWs, but Rölfo just thanks and doesn't question the way it came for sure!

Sure don't want to jinx anyone, but I was thinking that, should the Sweden-Canada final actually happen (make any exorcism you feel like making ), there would be a recent precedent in the Round of 16 of WWC 2019. Back then, Sweden won by 1-0 from a Stina Blackstenius' goal.
Good save by Lindahl at 74' from a near-post angled shot by Catley. Do I remember well that Lindahl had talked about retiring after WWC 2019? If I remember well, she obviously had to change her mind about that...
Swedish coach should have used his bench more a lot earlier. Need a bit of extra energy higher up the pitch.
Sweden has looked somewhat flat and tired in this match, compared to their previous matches. Australia has had the better of play for long stretches, certainly in the last 20 minutes of the first half. Australia has got a lot of talent and has shown what having a good coach means.
Really, even missing in front of an open goal is unexcusable. It would have sealed the game without the need of the last minutes of additional time.
