No, that's not what Adams is saying. He's comparing the work ethic of Summerbee and McKinlay, who do not have contracts with Leicester City but have volunteered to play for free (for now), to some higher-profile players (he uses David Ginola as an example) who would never make such an effort.
And even if Ginola had said no, thank the gods for that! He's the last kind of player I want to see at Leicester while they're in the First Div. -- as he generally doesn't give a toss about Premiership matches and would likely be shockingly unmoved to play at this level. Plus, I'd have to imagine a Ginola would come with wage demands the Foxes could never meet...
