I couldn't find his other thread tho he has to have one because we spoke about him when the Arsenal training camp was going on unless its under a stupid name

Rumored to be going to Santos in Brazil for 2 million dollars

Seems like a really low amount but at least its not Mexico or MLS

He won't be able to sign for Arsenal unless they see him as a talented south american, or has played for us for about 5 years. Since either, playing in Brazil is good. :)

So it's not clear if responding to pekerman's call up or the olympics call up is the better choice.

I think Daniel Torres and Alex Mejia are ahead of him in the pecking order... Not forget that even when not playing a lot at his club Sánchez has been good for Colombia, same for Abel, and Aldo Leao seems to be playing well as of late from what I read. So I would start Aldo and Sánchez.

I would rather see him start for the sub 23 in the Olympics qualifiers, same for Marlos Moreno.

We have Bacca and I'd call Jackson and we Have Muriel and should start Cardona higher up just behind Bacca, not forget that Irbabo has dine well for Nacional and should get some time as well.

Aguilar and Sanchez will be starting imo, Aguilar has started pretty much all his games for Belenenses and has even scored.

Is Abel playing at DM or CB? I heard he played a game as a CB

I would be shocked. But then again, when Pekerman slipped Valencia into that CB role in previous WCQ, it worked. Just see Abel contributing much more when he supports both Def and AMF.

Valencia had played as a CB and even RB a few times for his club prior to that. He had the capacity to do it.

Abel has never played CB ever. He's a central midfielder, and anybody who's seen him play could tell you that putting him in defense wouldn't turn out well.

I would think Daniel Torres and Carlos Sánchez are most likely to start. I think thw best combo is either Sánchez and Abel or Sánchez and Aldo Leao....

But if Pekerman is splitting the team into two then I'd save the A squad for the game vs Ecuador and therefore start Torres and Sebastián Pérez vs Bolivia

I doubt the whole splitting thing will happen.

There won't be a split. The squad isn't deep enough to pull that off.

I do think it's very likely to see 4 or 5 changes between the two games though. Muriel and/or Ibarbo's speed will be utilized in La Paz. Bacca will probably start in Barranquilla.

Perez seems unlikely to me with Abel back and clicking.

Too big of a team for him. Look at James has better numbers in his 1st 2 seasons at Real then Zidane played like 30 less games and the Spanish media still says he is shit and is an asshole for smiling.

Reminds me of Boston. When a Boston team loses and I see one of the players at the bar people yell at them and are like why are you out celebrating!!! It's like listen idiot it's a game and they are living life!

Sevilla or Porto would be perfect. See him as a perfect Replacement for Banega. Also wouldn't mind a team like Udinese. For Perez to work at Barca he would have to score a decent amount of goals and his finishing isn't good enough for a team like them.
