Yeah i agree.........you cant keep a guy always in the field because he is captain.

The good thing is that all of our 4 forwards were called becuase their current form and are having good seasons.

In that case i would prefer Diaz....that have more resources....for me villa struggled a lot with when he is facing a close defense.......

Villa plus are his good corners and long free kids....

I honestly have not seen enough of Villa really and haven't seen Diaz at all really, from the game's I've seen of Villa he looks very promising and is more direct of an attacker who likes to get behind much more then Cuadrado. Really looking forward to seeing Diaz and Villa playing with Colombia, good wide attackers will be in heaven playing with James and Quintero so these guys could really get a lot of exposure playing with Colombia.

One thing is Villa isnt given as much liberty to be creative or resourceful in Boca as Diaz is in Junior, so it's really hard to see how they match. They both are incredibly fast although I see Diaz a much more dangerous weapon in the final 3rd, who can finish.

Was a part of the counter attack that led to the third goal.
Nice cross from the right side.

Individually, Diaz is the better attacker. He can score, weave in and out of a defensive scheme, and pause the play when necessary.

He is not as fast as Villa nor is his speed as central to his game as Villa's is. Though they operate on a similar part of the pitch (opposite flanks of course), they approach their position differently: Diaz is a wide forward while Villa is a classic winger. Nothing evidences this more than the fact that they're both right footed.

The danger they provide is different, too. When they're on their games, Diaz is cutting in and taking shots on goal while Villa is crossing the ball in. I see Villa as the more unique player (when it comes to our playing pool) in that I don't see ANY other Colombian who can break away and get behind a defense as much as he does. Check out the highlights from his two best games this season. Blistering pace.

Of course, he's not nearly as consistent nor as involved in build-up play. But if we ever want to see that x-factor attacker that Cuadrado was in 12-13 again, it's most likely to be Villa. From what I understand, Quieroz' system favors this kind of player.

He got another assist. Not his best match, but he keeps contributing. Definitely in Alfaro's favor now.

Campuzano, on the other hand, has been overshadowed with Nandez' return.

What a difference a month makes.

We go from him being in the dog house maybe going to LA Galaxy and probably being lost in the National Team shuffle worst case scenario.

Now he is is contributing to Boca and their season and not only will probably make the Copa America squad on this trajectory but it looks like he may start in Brazil if he plays well in the Asian friendlies.
Hopefully he can continues to do well and the pressure does not get to him.

From what I saw last night he had a decent impact in the Libertadores.
He was fouled for a penalty (unfortunately Benedetto got it saved) and he crossed the ball in that caused another penalty that was scored.

Champion of supercup with boca, played 90 minutes agaisnt rosario and scored his pk...........probably was the best player, because the danger he made.

This cup is important since boca downfall laste year was after the final lost with river of supercup.

Fabra and Jorman not playing could be a good sign though.
It could mean that they play against Liga de Quito in the Libertadores on Wednesday.

Hoping for a bounce back year from him at Boca.
So far he has not lived up to my expectations. And he has not been called up since March of 2019.

Thanks god capuzano and Villa found Russo, a coach that value talented players not like alfaro and barros that only thinks in how to defend........
