Spoke with the FO today to see if I could pick up my season tickets. They said they didn't know if they needed to pick them up yet or not. I then called Gettix and the gentlemen said the team wasn't ready to distribute them yet and should be sending an email out today. They expect to have them ready within a week and are shooting for Wednesday (the 20th). I believe this will be the same time that single game tickets and merchandise becomes available as well as everything was supposed to be ready to go today.
Interesting that the FO doesn't know what the status of their tickets is... Do you know if Gettix will mail them out or do they need to be picked up?
Hope this is true, the Gettix guy didn't seem as confident on the 3/20/13 release date. Of course mailing them out on Wednesday would mean they get to us on Friday (hopefully Thursday, wouldn't count on it though) So literally the day before the season starts.
Technically yes, assuming we actually get them before the home season starts. Can't wait to see how long it is until the sell single game tickets.
Alright single game tickets are available for the first game, you have to call Gettix 866-443-8849 and know what section you want. The fees are $2.50 ($1.25 for Gettix, $1.25 for facility) He believes the tickets for future games should be available shortly and the link through the Phoenix FC site should be up before the end of the week.
Still no single game tickets online, but the online store is finally up. You'd think if I ordered tonight they could get it to me before the home opener, but I'm not counting on it. Kenn's realism/pessimism is infecting everyone.
I have a jersey that I should be getting by Friday before our trip to Fullerton. Not counting on it though. Also I confirmed with the FO, that the plan on having a willcall booth for every game.
Willcall, but what about actual walk-up sales? Their jerseys are pretty snappy. And the stuff isn't terribly overpriced, so that's good.
Oh, that's true. If you do it right, you should sell out every game. Because sellouts just happen like that.
I got an envelope filled with raffle tickets in the mail today! Tickets for 14 games total with two home games against Antigua, both at SDSS, on July 6th and 11th.
Okay, then, problem solved! (I wouldn't be too optimistic about Antigua making it to July, but we'll see.)
I got my tickets on Saturday, but the seats weren't in the section I was told they would be in on Thursday. I'm really annoyed as the seats are considerably less expensive than the seats I actually paid for. I will be calling the team tomorrow. I wouldn't have bought season tickets early if I knew it was just going to be a huge headache.
