With Navia coming back it's probably up in the air. They already let Chuy Mendoza go.

So they're gonna pay him 1.5 million and he really didn't do as well as many people expected him to do in America.

This is what I don't get about European teams, they offer South American players who are old and overrated a shytload of money, but when it comes to the Mexican players they offer shyt for players that are better than Piojo.

There were three key players for America to win the tournament:
    Ochoa,Piojo Lopez and Blanco.

Piojo Lopez showed inteligence in attack, there snobody in America who can run like him and attack. And yet he has shown that he doesnt crumble at important times and is able to impact on the team (like Navia as never done and always failing in the liguilla).
For those of who dont believe in him,let me remind you that at his second season he was important part for America to be the best overall.Best offense also.

The reason Europe teams offer more money for an argentinian, is because they have experience in Europe (like Piojo) and they have shown they have the quality to stand out.

Please remember that the mexican tournament isnot really important in level in the view of Europe like the proben quality market of Brazil and Argentina and that is why much teams wont offer much for a mexican player. Of course the mexican teams always stupidly try to sell people like Carmona and Borguetti( at the last years of their career) at 4 million.Nonsense.

(With some exceptions, like the Marquez operation, from Atlas to Monaco,at around 4 million)

If El Piojo is crap or a great player can be discussed, aand it is about opinion

    but

the reality is that Atlas is completely crap and there is no way to deny it.
No team,no direction and no good management.

hE WAS IMPORTAT,I would give Kleber the fourth role of importance. He was supreme during the seasons. But at the last games of the liguilla he didnt do much.

Kleber wasn't as big as Piojo or Cuau, if it wasn't for the balls that Piojo and Cuau gave Kleber he would have never scored as many goals as he did.

I think even though Piojo was a key part to America's run at the title, he's still overrated, before him I can give you a couple Mexican players that would do better in Europe at this point.

El piojo's first season with America was dissapointing, but he did well on the last one specially during liguilla, so he was very important for America. I wonder how much was America paying him.

Um, maybe you didn't notice he was suspended for like, half of the games... still you're kind of right there. Lopez was the opposite tho, was pretty sucky at the beginning and near the end he started to play good.

Back on topic, America should probably sell after spending quite a bit in the draft...
