I thought Dundee would stop embarrassing themselves after Mr. Cornetto left and the court case ended, but I was proved wrong.

I wonder if Gazza's gut is now bigger than Jimmy Five Bellies'?

    :D

BTW, nice to see a Saints player score the goal of the season on opening day, particularly at a ground where he is more hated than Osama bin Laden in Manhattan. (Don't ask me why, it is too trivial to mention) Although there was a peach of a strike for QoS' second goal.

    I don't believe it

However, he was pissed as a newt on ITV's World Cup coverage. I think that appearance has already become the most legendary moment in British TV history!

I find it funny how all the papers are describing him as a Rangers "legend". He had one season where he played unbelievably well (1995/6), the rest of the time he was on a continuous bender and didn't play anything like well enough to justify his wages. I can't believe he is fitter now than when he left, which wouldn't justify signing him to play even at this level.

Dundee can only be interested in him for either a) as a coach or b) media interest.

We (DC United) looked at Gazza two weeks ago and passed, so what does that tell you?

Nothing more than his performances for Everton, 'Boro, Rangers and Burnley over the last five years had told us already, ie that he is unfit and past his prime.

saw on the news tonight that dundee might be only looking to offer a 3 month deal as gazza could be in MLS for the start of their next season, this sounds quite likely.
Saying as dundee are skint anyway they arent going to be beating anybody for wages.
