WH Senior Staff shakeup McClellan is out as Press Secretary. Rove loses his policy portfolio (but not his title/position). Joel Kaplan promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff.
I'm just glad the Bush administration is getting to the root of their problems and working to solve them.
He went to see Tom Jonses plastic surgeons. they told him any more nose reduction surgery and his head would collapse.
Re: WH Senior Staff shakeup Details are shaky, but apparently everything he had: http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/04/19/D8H33SG00.html I read this as Rove continuing on as Deputy CoS without portfolio. Hagin keeps the admin/nat'l security stuff. And Kaplan gets the domestic policy stuff from Rove. It would seem that Rove goes back to being the chief political adviser only, but retains the Deputy CoS title.
Tony Snow has been offered the job. http://politicalwire.com/archives/2006/04/19/snow_offered_mcclellens_job.html
All he has to do is tell the same lie he told before. "The war is going well. The war is going well" That Tony Snow looks like a shrunken, Baptist Bill Walton.
Re: WH Senior Staff shakeup I don't buy that Rove is losing an ounce of power/influence in this "shakeup." the only reason his name is on the list is to make it appear more credible.
Re: WH Senior Staff shakeup I think it's possible that Rove has been released so that he may hitch his wagon to the next Republican front-runner for 2008. That, and so he can call anyone not supporting the president terrorist-weasles and not be related to the administration.
http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html With so much distraught, think veterans what to see action by commitees. This article really lightens load and cross wires converge from this.
Re: WH Senior Staff shakeup Rove is now working on the mid term election; get ready for red alerts, swift boating, illegitimate kid stories,.... I better go look for my duct tape and kool aid. I suppose it is important to W. If they lose the midterms he and Cheney will probably be tried for war crimes.
