We don't want another embarrasing scorline but it is a bit of a pointless exercise with no permanent manager in place. I suppose getting the boys together as often as possible is a good thing, would like to have seen Winters in the squad. I won't be watching it anyway, got a wee five a side game planned. so, in short, I rather play a wee game of 5 a side than watch Scotland v Sweden
I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I feel sorry for Burns. His reputation has been destroyed by Berti! Incidentally I think Berti has been at the drugs as he is trying to claim he did a brilliant job and that we will see the results in 4 years!
Scotland should really focus on producing excellent players, not just excellent managers Otherwise, we would've borrowed you Winters, but he's got a little groin problem. Miller on the other hand, is really fired up. He scored the only goal in the 1-0 vic over Halmstad in the Royal League tonight, and would probably be a strong asset for you.
It’s hard to tell but I doubt it! BTW, our best striker (Thompson) is out, Scott Severin called-up. Has anything actually changed since Bert left!!!
There is no way Thompson is our best striker! He's a waste of space IMO. Miller, McFadden, Dickov and Crawford are all better.
Okay but our best striker is out now – Dickov Naysmith and Cameron also out, Bazza, Holt and Gray “doubtful”. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4012725.stm
We don’t seem to care either judging by the amount of players who have called off. I’m not even going to bother watching it. Seems like a waste of time.
Um, what reputation? I can't believe that I actually bought tickets for tonight's game. I'm already regretting it. This must be a first, regretting an action before knowing the outcome.
The Swedish don’t seem to be caring either. It’s there b team that is turning up. Our problem is we don’t have a b team!
Well half the A Team aren't turning up I hope Mr T can still make it though....."I pity the FOOL who watches the Scotland game tonight, I pity the FOOL"
Scotland 1-4 Sweden http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/click/rss/1.0/-/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4012725.stm I thought we looked a lot better tonight then we ever did under Berti. We actually created a few chances and looked capable of sneaking a wee result. But after a bright start the roof fell in and somehow nothing seemed to have changed, especially when Burns persisted with 1 striker for 75 minutes! I thought Quashie, McFadden and Nicholson were all outstanding but why Pearson wasn’t taken off is beyond me.
