But Ittihad exposed Majed Al Marshadi at the back and today's game proved that Majed is no match for fast flowing & attacking game ... he just lose control too softly ...

What are you talking about? This is the closest title battle we've had in years! 4 teams or 5 teams have a legitimate chance to win the title unlike most years when it's just Hilal and Ittihad.

It's much more exciting this way. I hope Ittifaq win it this year, they're a really good symbol about how to run a club efficiently without spending millions.

    Results-
    Fateh 3-2 Ittihad
    Hilal 0-0 Shabab
    Qadsiya 2-1 Ansar
    Faysaly 2-1 Raed
    Hajer 2-1 Tawoon
    Nasser 1-3 Ahli
    Ittifaq 3-3 Najran

Ahli moves on top along with Hilal.Ittifaq stupidly lost good chance to close on the gap with the top three after giving away a 3 goal lead.

I know Ittihad are currently trying to be the worst Ittihad of all time and they're out of the running to win the championship, but do you think they can have a big say in where the title goes? Still a team that can stop another team from winning it?

We could, we took a point away against Hilal and we play Ittifaq at home next. However I do want Ittifaq to win the league so I wouldn't mind them beating our "team".

No one can say what Ittihad do anytime and anywhere.I would not be surprised if they suddenly start winning again and get close on winning the title in the last weeks of the league.

    Round 16 results-
    Hilal 1-1 Tawoon
    Najraan 0-4 Ahli
    Ansar 0-2 Hajer
    Raed 1-2 Fateh
    Qadsiya 1-2 Shabab
    Nasser 1-1 Faysaly
    Ittihad 0-1 Ittifaq

Ahli goes top with 1 point ahead of Shabab and 2 point ahead of Hilal.Next weeks derby btw Ahli-Hilal will mostly decide Hilals fate in the league.
For Ittihad I am betting on atleast the team to qualify for the Kings Cup.Ittifaq fullfilled my first dream of 2012 by beating Ittihad.

    They have gone top.
    FT-Ahli 1-0 Hilal
Entertaining derby.Hilal controlled the second half but simple error made them pay.Eysa missed a golden chance to go level but missed it disastorly.
    Other results-
    Ansar 1-3 Ittihad
    Shabab 3-2 Raed
    Fateh 0-1 Nasser
    Faysaly 4-1 Najran
    Tawoon 2-2 Qadsiya
    Hajer 0-1 Ittifaq

    Top 4 teams-
    1-Ahli-42 pt
    2-Shabab-41 pt
    3-Ittifaq-38 pt
    4-Hilal-37pt.

    Out of the 9 games remaining for each team to play;
Al Hilal has only 02 big matches out of 9 and it will be against Al Ittihad & Al Ettifaq.
Al Ahli have 03 big matches out of 9 and will play Al Shabab, Al Ettifaq and AlIttihad
Al Ettifaq have 03 big matches out of 9 and will play Al Shabab, Al Ahli and Al Hilal
Shabab have 03 big matches out of 9 and will play Ittihad, Ahli and Ettifaq ...

So, Al Hilal still have a chance to top the league provided Al Hilal wins all the matches as the difference between the top team and Al Hilal is 05 points at this stage...

I don't think alhilal can get the league this season , but I think they can secure a position for the next ACL .

Keeping aside these matches Ahli have habit of slipping against small teams. In that case it is most possible that Shabab is the favourite in the race. They play next against Ittihad,if things change and Itti wins it then nothing can be predicted.

Well Ahli avoided slipping on Tawoon.

I don't really like Ahli but it would be nice to see someone other than Itti and Hilal lift the league trophy.

I hope Ittifaq can close the gap by season's end.
