I believe the Playoff round is part of the Fox tv package. They've shown the playoff round since it was introduced for the 2009/10 tournament.
Interesting, I think fox might actually have the rights to the playoff ones.. At least they did when I watched it 2 years ago... Ill have to check
lol @ the hype and over-excitement surrounding the Madrid - Chelsea match. The stadium went dark for like 15 minutes before kick-off for some pre-game build-up/techno show. NBA-style overhype. All for a meaningless match. It's like they don't know about the invention of the airplane. Madrid / London is 6-7 hours away for anyone watching the match. It's not like the players are from another planet.
Glad to see Cristiano give that arse of a human being a really good spanking. Let's hope Pep gives him another one.
FFP is working says UEFA... on the likes of Panathinaikos and Malaga... I'm glad we don't get those powerhouses dominating Europe with economical doping anymore
Hull City AFC are changing their name to Hull City Tigers for the short term, eventually to be known as Hull Tigers the world over. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23629379 Sometimes this sport depresses me the way it keeps moving closer to how us North Americans run our sporting leagues. Only a matter of time before European domestic leagues play 'sudden death overtime' for 'tied' games, abolish promotion/relegation and institute a format of regular season/playoffs.

Sevilla beats ManchesterU 1-3 at Old Trafford in Rio Ferdinand's testimonial match. Lulz. Marko Marin looked great for them. Their style fits him much better than whatever they had at Chelsea.
If they don't get an AM probably. Sure they didn't have Rooney or Van Persie there but their midfield and defence were completely lost. Anderson is garbage. I'm surprised ManUre have given him all this time.
How bad has the BBC gotten? For literally the past 3 weeks their main headline has been either "Cesc still at Barca" or "Everything is good b/w Rooney and Man Utd" or some rephrasing of one of those two. WTF?
Lol yeah. Though raporting 50% fact, 50% bs is a solid ratio for any paper writing about summer transfers imo.
No wonder he's so good! Every time he receives a pass the ball is in the air for like two minutes, and he has time for deep thoughts about his life every time he's running upfield to get the ball.
