Josh Sargent on the bench for Werder Bremen in favor of Osako/Rashica/Bittencourt. Decent chance of playing off the bench.

CHRIS RICHARDS on the bench for Bayern Munich. I want Werder Bremen to pull this out to stay up, but I'll be more than OK with a Bayern blowout that leads to a debut...

We'll keep track of the Sargent-Richards psychic battle from the bench in here.

Shockingly, neither subbed on yet. 10'. Guess which team is playing better so far?

Serves Sargent right, coach yelled for the 'Ginger' to start and Yuya jumped first.

Took over 60 clicks to get there, but I'm in. So far Bremen playing like they care, BM playing like they will win at some point, easily.

Sargent on - the TV screen. Leaning on a railing, looking bored. 40': Bremen playing pretty well, though Bayern is dominating possession and chances, there have been few chances and few defensive mistakes.

Lewandowski makes it 1-0 - chip over a flat defensive line, nice chest control on the run, volleys the shot before it even hits the ground. Nice skill, no chance for keeper, defensive caught asking for offside, which is shot down by VAR. Tough to concede so late in the half, time for Bremen to strategize a miracle.

lewy lewy, oh lewy, you're scoring a goal now, yeah yeah yeah...

Nothing I despise more than a top Bundi player taking the safe route and joining BM. He could have gone anywhere and he chose FC Bowel Movement.

    Bah.

There is a real chance for Richards to be on the field when his team clinches a Bundesliga title. Would be a nice moment.

How do they handle winners' medals in Germany? I'm assuming there's an appearance requirement to get one.

As Bremen work forward on the pitch they noticeably are lacking a front man or a linch-pin to unite the attack.

ugh, roll over bremen- we all know yall can do that.

Wow, 3 (4?) onside attackers alone on goal. Lewy sends the header wide.

i think the most frequent action of his is sargent pressing high and no other bremen player within 30 yards

Possession approaching 100% Bayern right now. Bremen has had a few insta-turnovers - first aggressive pass disasters. Sargent trakcing way back, makes a clearance to deny Davies.

Gebre Selassie gets free for best look at a cross in a long time, and Sargent was making the far post run - but Boateng strong clearance.

not that any quality service is likely to come, but sarges runs are consistently half a yard offsides- hes giving no option for passes

DAVIES RED - second yellow as he arguably uses his body to stop Velkjovic from being open to make a run down the right wing. Bayern down to ten, so it will be slightly more even.

Oh no, davies goes full walkaboot and gets the red.

I was just about to say, credit where credit is due, BM are a well coached side.

Defensive sub for Bayern ... but it's Lucas Hernandez. Which makes sense if you're trying to clinch the title, but helps us not at all.

Hernandez immediately injured, but he's probably OK and might have been milking it.

oh, sarge with a nice chance/volley, blocked by a defender (possible handball)
