Grupo Modelo is spending some serious cash. I guess they dont want to lose their market in Torreon.

looks like santos is going to have a pretty good team next season

i remember when they were playing in the libertadores not too long ago. hard to believe a team that had done consistently well finished so badly recently

are they still going after bogetti? it'd be pretty neat to see kikin, borgetti, and oswaldo on the same team...

Now I'm glad I bought my jersey...I never thought Modelo would go all out to avoid relegation. I hope to see Borgetti come back but I would like for Kikin to stay in Europe (for his sake)

i dont want jared to come back..i mean i love his game play and everything..but its not that..i dont want us to rely on him like we use to all the time..i want it to be different, not just pony and jared, plus jared deserves to be playing around the world..he lost his prime..but he still deserves better and bigger stuff

At his age, and his lack of success (playing time), I think his Euro days are over. He can still score goals and what better place to do that than the team that made him. I agree that we shouldn't depend on the same players as always but these are unique circumstances. The team's main objectice is to avoid relegation, then they'll be able to start thinking long term.

This is great! I love the way the guy hustles. America completely underutilized him.

How far is the drive from San Antonio to Torreon? I was thinking about checking out a Santos game when I move to Texas this summer. Thanks.

I am very happy at this moment. A hard fought game by Santos and a little help from Atlas but Santos did deserve the win and to stay in this division. I am really excited about what Santos can do in la liguilla because I think they will be playing better since they will not have as much pressure on them.

    Un guerrero nunca muere cabrones!!!!
