San Jose - Los Angeles W.C. Semi Game 2 (Sun., 11/9) during-game/postgame thread [R] They have done it!!!!!! LA the only team never to win on the road in 2003 and to get pounded when up 4-0
MLSNET.com's matchtracker is your best bet. Unless you have Yahoo Platinum, and you can get it to work.
Congratulations. THE most unbelievable comeback in playoff history. What was the attendance? Looked like a good crowd. THAT should have been on FSW.
Without even seeing the game it surely has to go down as one of the best ever in MLS. Best final would be Quakes-Fire for my money so come on Quakes!
Oh my God!!!! What a game! I must admit that I thought about turning off the tv when the Galaxy went up 2-0 early in the game. Boy, am I glad I stuck with the game. What a comeback! 5 unawswered goals? Are you kidding me? What an inspired game played by the Earthquakes. I'm spent.
San Jose - Los Angeles W.C. Semi Game 2 (Sun., 11/9) during-game/postgame thread [R] OH my god!we did it!perfect pass by Landon to Faria and a one timer to send the scum home losers!yeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss!I'm so freakin' happy!
I listened to this game on the Galaxy Radio Station. You can listen here right now they're recapping the game.
I just broke my own rule against trolling. Show this game to anyone who says MLS or even soccer is boring. I still cannot believe it was only shown in Spanish. Congratulations to the Earthquakes on a stirring comeback.
In memory of... Since the moment he first came on the field, clapping and trying to pump up his teammates; Rodrigo Faria' recently passed father came to my mind. Rodrigo's father was his idol all his life, and was the main driving force for Rodrigo's passion for the game. When he passed, Faria seriously considered giving up the game. But, finally working through his sorrow, Rodrigo decided to give it one more try. What better tribute to his idol, his father; than to win it in overtime? I couldn't be happier for the Quakes, and, especially, for one great guy - Rodrigo Faria.
Un-friggin-real. In the 6th minute of extra time, just like Dayak against Miami two years ago. Down 2-0 on the night and 4-0 on aggregate, the Quakes did not give in or give up. Farrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaa!! Faria, a late-season addition and maligned slightly by some of our people, scores in extra time. Ding-dong, the witch is dead!!
