Wouldn't mind seeing Benji at CF. I like that idea. Don't expect we'll see it but it plays more to his strengths than #10.

@SeaJayBee , hope you don't mind if we check back in on where we are now. things have been awfully quiet over at Quakes HQ lately. I met with some folks "in the know" at the Block Party event yesterday. Some valuable items were learned: The newly signed player P1 visas will be complete this week so all the new players will be available to Luchi by Saturday; Turned out to be partially true. Our transfers made it on time, our free agent signing, Wilson, we're still waiting to hear when he will be available. Hopefully by Saturday. CL was NOT at the event as he was in the office still working the DP acquisition. The target is to NOT wait for summer. They are pushing hard to complete it for the start of the season and not a summer transfer; They weren't able to complete it by the start of the season, obviously. Are they still aiming for any day now? They have more than 1 player in the negotiating phase (we already knew from Luchi that they were working on another attacking player); Maybe we're still in the negotiating phase with more than one attacking player, maybe not. Not sure how we should interpret the no-news we're getting, good or bad? Quakes fans just need to be patient? The player(s) they are working are "a step above" anyone we have ever signed before. Because of that, the player(s) have broader market demand and so have more leverage during negotiations. Hence the time it is taking to close on them. "A step above" sounds promising. Players who are in high demand, with more leverage because they have more interest/options...all sounds good. Any updates?
Stolen from another thread. I don’t think that Jack is a great #10, but he attacks the enemy and tries to combine with our other players. That’s what we need, so I like him. He’s aggressive. He’s hard to knock off the ball. He gives it his all. Mind you, I want a player like Reynoso or Zelarayon, but we don’t have a guy like that. So for now, it’s Jack. Fingers crossed for a magical (or at least quality) #10. Go Quakesfans!!
God no. TT shouldn't even be on the team. He has been past his sale date for two years. Sub and injury duty should be his only chance at seeing the field.

Sorry to post here...I have a question about MLS apple tv pass for the season. On my smart tv apple app shows the season pass for $49.99. When I follow the instructions to purchase it sends me to my cell, the price is $99.99 for the season. What the hell? How much is it finally for the season??
The monthly price is $14.99 unless they're giving you a special surcharge. But why not get the $99.99 annual subscription and save 80 bucks? Did you keep paying the monthly subscription during the offseason?
I did, it was an inertia thing I think mostly. And you're right, it's $14.99. I need to revisit the annual subscription and see if I can still get the $99.99/yr rate.
79.99 if you already have Apple TV....99.99 for first timer's...imo, flat rate season pass is the way to go. RE: Mahan...someone get that guy a protein shake...could that jersey be any bigger. But very happy for the shout out to the Quakes.
I have committed to buying season tickets again... ...once we win our first home playoff game since 2003. So 2027 I expect, if I'm lucky.
I think we need to amend our club charter to match your protocol.. “Never give up, well, unless there’s a lack of success. Then give up until we meet my standard of success, then give up less!.” It’s a little long but I think it works! And safe!
If season tickets doesn’t mark a full commitment to the team relative to single season tickets, why would you reward the team’s success, by your metric, with a commitment to season tickets? :thinkingemoji
