This thread is specifically for discussion on our foreign based players. Only players who have at one time or another been capped at either junior or senior level and are currently contracted to a pro club can be discussed here. Uncapped Salvadorans abroad can also be discussed, but only if they have played in El Salvador at some point in their careers.

For a detailed list of current and past players that have played (or that are currently playing) pro football abroad, click here.

I'm glad to see Julio stay abroad. I still stand by what I said, I'm glad they are in the MLS instead of the 2nd division.

El volante salvadoreño Julio Martínez estuvo ayer en la tribuna del estadio Camp Nou, donde vio el triunfo del León sobre el Correcaminos.......

Once again, HUGE props to Salvadefender who does a fantastic job in clipping match highlights and focusing his videos directly on our players.

Just by that bit of film you can tell Cheyo is too much for that league. It's ridiculous how much space they gave him. I hope he continues to be under estimated that net will without a doubt be scored on.

the number 9 for DC United is free!
    Castillo, take the number 9
(or if you don't want it, take number 8!)

Cristian Castillo #9 - that's more like it!

Yeah Mexican leagues are usually like that they give you a lot of space to play in on the field. He played really well in that game. Though I would have liked to see Cheyo with DC United cause most of us already saw how he played when he was younger and wasn't playing bad but now that he's older and with more experience I think he can do better with DC United. Also DC United needs a better CAM cause Gomez is getting old and isn't doing that great.

Does it matter what number he wears?
