Alright, I really didn't have any faith that they were going to win that. What a great run of play to secure the winner. Hope for a title has not been extinguished.
Great job by Gaitan in setting up that pass to Bruno and nice job picking the corner spot. Benfica played well with great intensity, but I'm worried about the strikers not synching up well. If we want to win the Liga, they have to fix the scoring issues.
I think this game could act as a turning point for Benfica and provide some much needed inspiration. I would not be surprised in any way, if they win 2-1 or 3-2 on Wednesday.
I hope so momentum never hurts but this is a tough run of matches: Chelsea, Sporting, Maritimo. It will be even harder considering all our injured defenders.
Winning in extra time is the best feeling. That hasn't happened in a long time. What an adrenaline rush.
Best case scenario is a draw next week for Braga-Porto...Going to be tough against Sporting. They will be highly motivated to eliminate us from winning the league.
