However, both the player and his current club will be difficult to convince: Van Nistelrooy is already well paid and has built a reputation of a great goal scorer in England; Manchester United have in Ruud, one of the best strikers ever to have worn the Red Devils jersey. On the other hand, Manchester United might be tempted to get Trezeguet, seeing how his fellow French national player, Thierry Henry, exploded on to the world scene with his arrival from Juventus to Arsenal.
