They are trying to set up a Bernie vs. Trump general election. Given Trump's proclivities, you know which side they'll take in the fall. GOPs in Congress are willing co-conspirators. I suspect this thread will have 1000 replies by mid November.
To be clear, the Russians don't want Bernie to win. They want him to facilitate their guy's victory again.
Yes, they prefer Trump, Sanders winning would also not be too bad, Putin and Sanders could bond over their sadness of the fall of the Soviet Union Sanders is not an interventionist at heart, so that fits Putin very well, Putin prefers doves in charge over hawks. I am sure that if Putin disinformation machine was all powerful, he would make Gabbard the Democratic candidate, a Trump vs Gabbard race would be Putins wet dream.
I found this twitter thread to be a good run down on the actions taken by Russia in 2016 : 1231725268059869185 is not a valid tweet id especially these couple of tweets These are key and I hope more Americans this cycle will be far more leery of who they follow, promote and believe online. As President Bush said, "fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice... can't get fooled again."
A Sanders win would be OK for Putin. He wants chaos and Americans hating each other. That's why I say Putin wins either way.
The US needs to get even by hijacking Russia’s election, just to troll Putin. It would be awesome if Putin wakes up one day and says, how the f*k did Maria Sharapova just become president?
Joememtum is real...... A new Wason Center poll in Virginia finds Joe Biden leading the Democratic field with 22%, followed by Bernie Sanders at 17%, Mike Bloomberg at 13%, Pete Buttigieg at 8%, Elizabeth Warren at 8% and Amy Klobuchar at 5%. Asked if they will support the party’s eventual nominee, 82% of Democratic primary voters say yes, and 67% say “definitely.” Of the 18% who are uncertain or who say they definitely won’t, two-thirds fear the nominee will be “too liberal” and about one-fifth fear the nominee will be “too moderate.”
Where is your evidence @superdavem? and if they were so good at "hacking" or influencing elections why is Biden the presumptive nominee. It seems sad you have to create conspiracy theory threads with not a shred of evidence to continue to spread disinformation and division within the democratic party.
