Russel's Sogndal wins 3-2 over Brann. They continue their strong run of play of late and move into 9th, only a point back of 8th. They have been very strong since the break. Player ratings not yet posted. Will post when available. http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/norsk/eliteguiden/
Dag Christian Sørum, Sogndal 5,11 (97/19) Rune Buer Johansen, Sogndal 5 (75/15) Terje Skjeldestad, Sogndal 4,8 (96/20) Rune Bolseth, Sogndal 4,6 (92/20) Tommy Øren, Sogndal 4,6 (92/20) Robbie Russell, Sogndal 4,47 (85/19) Eirik Hillestad, Sogndal 4,28 (77/18) Håvard Flo, Sogndal 4,2 (84/20) Helge Bjønsaas, Start 4,2 (63/15) Alexander Ødegaard, Sogndal 4,18 (71/17) Therse are the averages for the year. He ranks in the middle, but he seems to be the most erratic in ratings. Anyone know what his weak spots are?
He's actually a bit higher than the middle as far as league goes. But down on his team's list as of now. if he indeed plays more defense then that probably explains it. in my opinion VG overrates offensive players in its player ratings. Earlier in the year he had the highest player rating on the team.
Red & Black: Not that this is relevant to the thread, but your tag line at the bottom of your posts cannot be more accurate. Did you watch yesterday's DC-Metros game? He was horrible, even by his standards.
it was pathetic, i did see him not play. but if you thought he was poor yesterday, last wed. we scrimmaged U. maryland and he got worked by college boys. sad, sad, sad. our whole midfield didn't just suck yesterday, it swallowed. that was terrible. sorry, big rant, OT but it just hurt to watch yesterday
More russel news Russel recieves a 5 from Dagbladet http://www.dagbladet.no/pls/dbprod/fotball.spillerinfo?pspiller=3212&pliga=28 It also reports he recieved a caution, though doesn't say what for. Also, he is listed as a defender on Dagbladet site but as a mid on the official Sogndal site.
