Rush Limbaugh Investigated in Painkiller Ring I don't have a link yet but CNN just announced that Limbaugh is being investigated in an illegal painkiller ring that goes back to 1998. Murf
God I was in a bad mood this morning, having stayed up till almost 3am just to watch the Red Sox pull another excruciatin loss out of nowhere. So I wake up late, click on CNN, and.... "Limbaugh's Voice Caught On Tape Asking For Drugs" greets me. Suddenly, the air smells fresh, and I can hear birds singing again. Apparently, he's way embroiled in an ongoing illegal pain killer ring, though he's not the target of the investigation (the sellers are). One source confirmed he had a "100 pill per day" habit at one point. God, and he was Larry King bragging about his diet and how he lost all that weight! LIES!
Nobody wants to provide the link. http://www.nydailynews.com/10-02-2003/front/story/122839p-110349c.html
Not a good week to be King of the Dittoheads... Bush/CIA leaks Lose football analyst job Possible drug habit exposed Ouch!
Rush Limbaugh's radio show and his rhetorical, unthinking spewing of conservative dogma have made this country a worse place. I have long hoped that he would be removed from the airwaves because I detest the way he expresses his ideas. That being said, I feel for anyone struggling with addiction, and if these stories are true, I hope he receives appropriate care and is able to recover.
Wow, a much better man than I. Anyone want to suggest an Over/Under on how long it takes before a whole catalogue of past Limbaugh quotes starts floating around, villifying drug addicted welfare queens, and so forth? How do you like your hypocrisy served, Rush?
"The thing that we cannot do in the drug fight right now is regulate because it's illegal. Drugs are against the law and so the manufacturers are illegal. They're not even on shore they're down there in Columbia and the Calli Cartel and they're working to poison the brains and minds of the future of America. And so what we do is to try to keep those drugs from getting in. And I agree with you that it's a half baked effort."
"Talk radio star had drug habit, maid sez" Glad to see the Daily News has people checking the spelling.
That, and the last three girls I've dated have moved there. I sing all my exes live in Manhattan instead of Texas. Yet, people still wonder why I won't go up there.
A report I heard on the radio said that Limbaugh's maid printed and saved his emails to her. She also saved the messages he left on her answering machine. There is also a report that the National Enquirer paid her six figures for the story. Obviously, she was plotting against him the entire time. Damn, it's hard to find good help these days. Murf
I wonder if that deafness business a while back was a cover to explain slurred speech due to heavy narcotic use. OxyContin? Isn't that the hard-core stuff?
You should really be more considerate and move to Manhattan so your future exes can save travel expenses.
Kind of interesting in that only Fox News, the Daily News and The Enquirer are running the story... hmmmmm
