At the half the verdict is: Swim!

Only one defensive breakdown, nearly very costly.

Loved seeing how quickly and decisively the entire front line reacts to mistakes by KC's midfield to create opportunities and one goal!

    Rockin half!

All three Argentines earn points already in the first half.

    Morales with an assist.
    Mantilla with a goal.
    Espindola with a goal.

Only possible change I see is perhaps Findley for C.Brown.

I think Williams would slow the pace up a bit.

    Williams on for Morales.

Not sure why. Morales is holding his shoulder on the bench.

Is Kreis going to pack it in?

How different will RSL look with Williams in for Morales?

    Slower pace?

If nothing else, hopefully more possession...

The goal came from a terrific pounce-and-pass from Eskandarian. A sloppy pass saw Esky suddenly sprint to a challenge, steal the ball, and slot it perfectly between two Wizard defenders to Espindola charging up the flank. That was a rocket of a shot barely inside the near post.

    What a fun half.

Pace has certaintly slowed in the second half. I don't think that favors RSL. KC is getting more possession.

KC continues to stink it up on their road swing.

Can RSL carry this intensity into their 5-game road swing?

RSL starting to lower their intensity. Conrad with a free header but wide...

I much prefer Morales in the middle to Williams. Morales gets the ball and immediately moves up field. Bomma dinks around with the ball too much...

    RSL playing too deep.

Victorine with a header. Rimando with the save.

RSL is giving up way too much possession.

When my team plays well unexpectedly, I get massive jolts of nervous energy (proven justified on plays like that Victorine chance . . . ). I now have the laundry going, I did the dishes, and I washed my car at halftime. Come on RSL!

Not sure - gassed, maybe, as he was borth nursing a knock and the only of the three not to appear in a game yet. He also got hit pretty hard in the lower back during half one by either Wahl or Raybould.

Nice looking cross there with Brown thratening.

Pope off for Wingert - Mantilla to go the full 90. I think Kreis just wants to see how it looks.

So much for Besagno being Pope's heir apparent.
