I'm gonna give the egghead a chance and not badrep him immediately, and see if he can base his statements on something else than the fact that he's mentally challanged :p

    bruiser quotes!

    Insults

    "omg..

    You are hopeless."

"I won't even bother to debate it. Ceres can live blissfully in his ignorance, I
    don't care anymore."

"Well, you have no clue then ceres."

"lmao I see ceres has crawled out of his hiding"

Grow up, then come back and try and discuss football in a mature fashion.

    "You are so completely ignorant."

"Yeh, I'm not interested in your view of what is what."

Signs of biased and narrowminded person

"Uhm, we don't? What about Carew, who played for Valencia in TWO
Champions League finals(scored in one of them)? Or Riise? Solskjær...? "

"It's not even worth discussing. Most people with knowledge about football,
knows that the Norwegian Tippeligaen holds the highest quality."

    "Each player in
the Norwegian league is overall better skilled, than in the sasligaen and the
    allsvenskan."

"I can also mention more players. Azar Karadas(Benfica) top goal scorer, Roar
Strand(Rosenborg) I don't know how many CL matches he's got under his
belt, but 50+ capses atleast, Daniel Braaten(Rosenborg) gifted young player,
    etc etc.."

"Oh, and Rune Lange (Club Brugge) and Bengt Sæternes (Brann), two very strong and good shooters."

"He made it fine in both of those leagues. Only reason Roma didn't buy him
was because they couldn't afford him. And as for Valencia, looking at his
current form in the NT and Besiktas, they're probably kicking themselves."

"So, the way I, and FIFA, see it; the three strongest teams at the moment in Scandinavia are:

    1. Rosenborg
    - Vålerenga
    3. Brann"

"Just admit it; The Norwegian league is at a higher level than the Danish league!"

"The Norwegian league is currently the best
league with better teams and better players"

    "FCK sucks and Brøndby sucks"

"BRANN? Unknown? lmao We're the FAMOUS BRANN FROM BERGEN!"

"Since the Norwegian Eliteserien holds the highest quality"

    (about rosenborg)
"Yes, they've got a strong team, and should be doing better than they are."

"Rosenborg, even tho having a poor start, they are way to strong to loose out
to Djurgården or Esbjerg, so I'm positiv they will go through"

Favourite teams to win the RL: Brann and the other Norwegian teams

    Excuses

"Although having many players who regularly don't play in the starting lineup in
    this match"

"but what would you expect with all the
players we had out due to injuries"

AND TO FINISH IT ALL OFF

"Grow up, then come back and try and discuss football in a mature fashion."

ps. "I'm a bit disappointed about the poor attendances around Scandinavia for Royal League. The Swedes seem to be very pessimistic and negative minded about it all."

EXCACTLY we don't give a ******** so stfu!

and this is not even half of it

    Completely fair statements.

But what has this anything to do with my knowledge about football, dude? iIf you can't handle that I'm right about Tippeligaen being the best in Scandinavia, then you shouldn't hang around here.

"Swedish Örebro defeated norwegian Brann 2-0 (both midtable teams last year) in the Nordic Cup today and earlier this week in La Manga Cup GIF Sundsvall (swedish relegation zone) defeated Molde (norwegian midtable)"

    bruisers response

"Dandal, these La Manga Cup games are off-season warm-ups and hardly a good measurement for quality"

this would aply to RL aswell, wouldn't it?

As long as the Swedish and Danish teams keeps losing the "supporters" and the people here at Big Soccer will find different reasons to blame the defeats on. They cant really accept that the Norweigans are better at the MOMENT.

These aren't training matches, they're official league-matches with prizes. So no, it doesn't apply to the Royal League.

I just find it hard that norwegians can claim that their own league is the best and it's not arguable

SO? Do you think Rosenborg don't care about the CL just because it is played when Rosenborg are off-season?? C'mon.. It's all about the importance of the competition. Don't you get that?

We look at performances and results. I suggest you do too.

    *Whoaw, deja-vu*

Yes, and like you have stated we don't find RL important!

I don't think you have looked at the results! If ONE team wins the league 13! times in a row that doesn't sound like a good league with good competition!

but please, why don't you post your stats!

Every supporter and team sais that when their teams doesnt win, if your team had won you would´ve said "RL is so important to us"

I dont think Norways have the best league in Scandinavia, it´s hard to point out the best. Of course when Rosenborg has won 13 years in a row its easy to say that its not an competition. But the teams in Norway are getting better and better , and it´s going fast, believe me.

    I have? Who?

Wich results haven't I looked at?

It doesn't sound like? If you had known what you're talking about, you would
know that there's a very hard and tough competition in the league, and very
much more so than in the Allsvenskan or SASligaen.

You don't seem to lack the basic skills to argue or discuss. To prove your point you often refeer to Statistics, articles etc. and then it's the opponents time to argue against it. It's not just you telling me that you are right and i am wrong without posting evidence.

    so post you stats etc.!

If Swedish teams do bad in the RL, it's either because they are not good enough, or because they are not professional enough. Either way, it's their loss, and Denmark's and Norway's gain.

Personally I think the RL is great, and I can't wait for the rest. :)

I'm not claiming that the Swedish league is better, I believe that the danish is the best in scandinavia.

    National Team is another issue

Previous European-cup results and the RL results so far, shows that the Norwegian teams are better. So I don't understand your fascination with the danish teams.

So far in the RL the danes have two bottom teams, zero teams as group leaders, and last of the three nations in club points. Even if they get maximum points out of tomorrows games, they won't be any better than second.

and to roughly quote you. RL is merely a off-season friendly tournament which does not state a teams ability

Of course it's not good for a league that the same team wins 13 times in a row - but for Scandinavia it's good. At least we have one team in Champions League on a regular basis.. If the Swedish/Danish league is sooo much better, Then why do we always (almost) have one team in the CL, and why don't you?
And you don't know what your talking about if you say there is no competition in the norwegian league.
    Final ending, top 2:
    1. Rosenborg BK 48 points
    2. Vålerenga IF 48 points

RBK win the league for the 13th time, on more scored goals... If you had seen the last matches in the league (RBK against FC Lyn Oslo 4 - 1, and VIF against Stabæk, 3 - 0) you would have seen that RBK didn't even "win" their 13th trophy in a row before min after their last match had ended (VIF was still playing Stabæk for a few more min, and if VIF had scored ONE more goal on overtime, VIF would have taken the trophy....)
Do you get a more exctiting finish to a league? I doubt it.... I was a nerve wreck for those 90+3 min!

English article on the veery exciting ending:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ma...205.xml&sSheet=/sport/2004/12/05/ixfooty.html

Give this discussion up, we will probably never agree!
And one thing has to be said: Swedish and Danish team should take RL just as serious as the Norwegian ones.. What's their problem? They don't want to bet better? Earn more money? Win a prestigous tournament (which it might be in some years...)?

Hmmm, one team has won for the last 13 years (due to the lack of competition) you'd expect them to do better internationally.

If one team is good this makes it a good league?

    2. Bodø/Glimt 47

    6. Brann 37

    1. Vålerenga won 3-0
2 The swedish and danish teams are taking the tournament just as seriously. It's the supporters who're not supporting their teams as good as their norwegian counterparts.

    1. They've done waay better in the last decade than any of the other swedish or danish teams.
    2. The league has been close at the death alot of times.

You must understand, that even tho Rosenborg has won the league 12 times in a row, it still has nothing to do with the other norwegian teams' form right now. Tippeliga and RL performances proves that.

Mff: one player leaves after the season just because he don't want to be injured during RL

one player goes on sick leave, just because he doesn't want to play RL

DIF: wan't to give kalmar the place in RL

    taking it seriously
