Giuseppe Rossi has been handed a squad number, (don't know which one yet but 21 is free), sparking rumours that he's set to make his debut or at least make the bench in the Carling cup tie vs. Palace.

Quinton Fortune is back from injury and is expected to make his first appearance since August in the same game.

Nah I don't think he'll get any starts or much work. They probabley just want to get him close to the team and try preparing him as much as possible for his later development into the lineup on a regular basis.

Hate to tell anyone this, but we don't have a miracle, not Rossi, nor anyone, who can save us. The only way is for the current squad to start playing better. So don't rush Rossi, its not worth it.

Good for the lad. He has been doing great in the reserves. He will probably make his debut against Crystal Palace as a sub, as I prefer Fergie to use our "great" strikers so they can have better undestanding between them.
