nah, his european reputation is still really good. He'll probably go to a decent team in europe for a but first. Mexico will probably happen at some point, especially with the hard on they have for colombians.

Another 2 goals from this guy today. Also, nobody posted the assist he had last week.

7 goals and 2 assists in 5 matches. Guy is straight up killing it. I expect he's still going to be on the roster for Venezuela and Brazil

He def didn't like Jackson but he has Guarin as his captain!! Seemed like he liked him. Guarin was god like in Football manager game but really only had 6 great months at Porto never really did much else but had 1 hell of an agent

Never mind actually trying to figure out what they are saying, haha. Their pronunciation of Roger had me baffled. I did make out when they said Martinez though.

Good quality video so worth a share.

Just to compare, Israel's best player is currently the best player in China, scores almost every game and took a weak team up in the table. He has something like 9 goals in 7 non-complete matches not including Chinese cup. So we shouldn't take Roger's goals so seriously, with all due respect. I've watched this league several times (Montero also plays there) and Colombia's level should be much higher. All the South AQmerican leagues have better football then China, including the MLS. When we are done with all these strikers, we can clear time to look for players in China. No to Roger in the national team for me.

Jackson & Guaro proved themselves in Portugal & Italy and Macnelly proved himself in Colombia with Nacional before all of them moved to weak leagues because of the money. I'm not judging any of them, I just think that we need players who will compete at the highest levels every week. So not all of our players play in Spain, England or Italy, but we do have other good players who play in better leagues then China or Qatar.

    I think that

    a) Pekerman wants to get him involved in the process since he will be part of the future

    and

    b) They know he won't be in China long

    Maybe,

But after he (Pekerman) specifically said that he'll find it hard to call players from weak leagues after Jackson & Guaro move, I find it impossible to all of a sudden call Roger, especially that at least for me, Jackson still a better player then Roger. Until Roger will move to a decent league, Pekerman should keep him out of the NT.

Brasil called Renato Augusto and he performed good in wcq

Jackson and guarin was playing terrible before they got moved over there. Roger was just improving. Macnelky was bench in Qatar , as Jackson is now. Actually macnelly got shots in Qatar for a lot of time

Roger is in a good personal level, isn't like he was bad before and now the king is in China. Is part of the process

Jackson that is bench in China , and that have scored 4 goals since August ....better that roger in this moment ??? Is like said that falcao was better in last two years than bacca . He isn't out of the NT only because China is a weak league

Rumors said that he will be called up . Pekerman rated him high, never rated so high Jackson and guarin

For me neither should be in the NT, we have better options up front. If I should choose, I think that overall Jackson is a better player then Roger. I'm not talking about their statistics, but their ability as footballers. And again, the fact that Roger is ripping nets in China, doesn't impress me at all.

Roger have ripping nets all this season , not only in China ...isnt that he appeared from shit and becomes good

Jackson maybe have had a better carrerl experience . But he isnt able to be starter in China as in spain , it isnt only stats. His current form is pathetic
. 4 goals in a year , isnt only that roger have better stats ...

Pelase tell me which are The better
Options ??? i think only arguably , only bacca is in The Top

Argentina called lavezzi that played so well in copa América and Brasil called Renato Augusto that Also performed very well

Jackson was on e of the best strikers in Europe before Atletico, which means only less then two years. He was a regular callup for Pekerman. As a players, he didn't change. He still a great striker. He made a mistake by joining a Chinese club, Pekerman may not like him but no one can deny that he is a true scorer (And no current statistic will change it. He never played under Pekerman even when he scored 30+ goals in Porto).

Roger will justify his callup only by playing in a better league. Right now, we have better options before him. We can't really compare statistics between player who plays in China and a player who plays in Turkey for exa,ple (Why not calling Rodallega?).

Buttom line, at the moment Colombia should call strikers like Bacca, Teo, Muriel & Ramos with an option of Dayro, who also plays very well in Mexico. When he'll recover from his injury, Falcao should be there too. Other potential strikers for the future are Borja, Preciado, Santos Borre & Casierra, depends theur form. My point is that I will give anyone of them a shot of Roger, regarding the number of goals they scored.

Don't give me other example, I couldn't care less about other NT's. I look at Colombia. And 11 goals in almost 50 games in Argentina, aren't exactly 'ripping' nets all season. I just name you several players who should get a chance before Roger, as long as he keeps scoring in a joke league like China.
