I just watched Ginga on FSC this morning and they have a nice feature with Robinho towards the end. This is back when he was still with Santos. A neat show too - check it out if you have time...
Everyone should do themselves a favor and check the link below. Here is the link for a glimpse at the gorgeous footbal: http://nikefootball.nike.com/nikefootball/siteshell/index.jsp#,us;frontpage,
I've seen this on TV and it's absolutely awesome football. I really like that indoor-player, Falcao. I had never heard of him but he was brilliant.
Falcão was the Futsal Player of the Year in 2004. I don't know if FIFA gave the award in 2005. Seeing him play is just like seeing Ronaldinho.
He failed miserably and went back to footsal. Some people are meant to be doctors (Ronaldinho) and some are meant to be dentists (falcao).
Falcao is the business in terms of futsal. I've never seen a human highlight reel like the one he displayed in Ginga. I was a little bit taken back by Robinho's freestyle ability as well. Good stuff. Although it is a shame that Falcao didn't do well for Sao Paulo.
Interesting that Falcao failed at football.. I wonder why? I would like to read a detailed account of his short stay in football, but I can't find anything on the topic.
That was not the case. Falcão failed two other times and he went to São Paulo for the third attempt. There, he was trained by a coach named Leão (former goalkeeper). This coach is know by his arrogance. He wants to be on the spotlight, and doesn't allow any player to shine more than him. Falcão joined the team in the beginning of the season and São Paulo was playing the Paulista Championship (regional championship). The fans were always pressuring Leão to make him give Falcão some playtime, but it had the opposite effect. The coach just kept saying that the player was not ready and would give him only 5-10 minutes every 3 matches. So Falcão would always come into decided games and he became very anxious, trying to do too much with the little time that was given to him. Even like this, he showed decent football, but Leão... São Paulo won the championship with 4 games still to be played and Leão still didn't let Falcão play the remaining games. So Falcão returned to futsal and Leão went to Japan, for a quick buck. Now Leão is coaching Palmeiras and is doing quite well.
Hey guys I could use some help here. I got into the nike site and found a page where there is a TV and seven buttons, one for each episode. I click on any button (like, episode 1), but it never loads or shows any indication that it's loading. Clicking on episodes 1,3 and 7, there are pictures of Ronaldo, RC, and Ronaldinho. When I click on their pictures, I see little interviews. How can I watch "Ginga" itself?
Do you realize how silly that sounds? You're asking him to go back nearly four years of emails to locate an email from a advertiser. If he had said it was from November, well, easy enough to locate...
Maybe he could had added it to "favorites" or something like that. And he subscribed in 2002, but the Ginga stuff is recent. Anyway, there is a "download" button on the Robinho page that leads to the links. I don't know how I missed it.
